The name is a joke.
How we work isn't.

Honest quotes, work that ships, and a studio that's still there after the invoice is paid. Here's what that actually means.

Our Ethos

Three things we don't compromise on.

Say what it costs. Say what it takes.

No padded estimates, no scope surprises halfway through. You get the real number and the real timeline before anything starts -- even when the honest answer is 'that'll take longer than you'd like'

A quote you can plan around beats a quote you like the look of.

Shipped beats perfect.

Software that sits in review for a month helps nobody. We build the thing that works, put it in front of real users, and improve it from there -- rather than polishing in private for weeks.

Working today is worth more than flawless next quarter

We stay after launch.

Handover isn't the end of the job. Bots go down, dependencies break, requirements shift. We keep an eye on what we build and pick up the phone when something needs fixing.

Anyone can launch it. Keeping it running is the job.

Our Strategy

Not a straight line, but it got us here.

  • Feb 2026

    The idea

ProbablyWorks started as a name, a joke, and an itch to build things properly.

  • Feb - Apr 2026

    Word of mouth

Bots, sites, and one-off jobs built quietly for whoever asked around. No website, no posts, just work.

  • Early May 2026

    Going public

Started posting about what we build. Turns out people wanted to see it.

  • 12 May 2026

    Officially open

ProbablyWorks became a real studio you could actually hire.

  • Today

    Where we're headed

Right now, ProbablyWorks is one person doing the work a whole studio usually splits between five. That means honest quotes, direct answers, and no account manager standing between you and the person actually writing the code. As the client list grows, the plan isn't to get bigger for its own sake. It's to keep being the studio that answers the phone after the invoice is paid, for clients who've been ghosted by an agency before and would rather that never happen again.
